Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose & Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the acceptable standards of conduct and content usage across all hosting products provided by CorelHost ("CorelHost", "we", "us"), including Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, CodyChat Hosting, Licensing Nodes, and Offshore/DMCA Ignored Hosting services. Compliance with this policy is mandatory for all clients.

2. Prohibited Content & System Activities

Regardless of plan tier or hosting location, the following content types and activities are strictly prohibited across all CorelHost servers:

• Illegal Content: Material that violates local laws of Pakistan or the jurisdiction where the physical server resides.
• Child Abuse & Exploitation: Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or sexualizes minors (zero-tolerance policy).
• Malware & Cyber Attacks: Hosting or distributing viruses, trojans, ransomware, phishing portals, IP booters, or conducting DDoS/port scanning attacks.
• Violent Extremism & Trafficking: Promotion of terrorism, hate speech, human trafficking, or violent acts.
• Mass Spamming: Sending unsolicited bulk email (SPAM), operating open mail relays, or hosting spam-advertised websites.
• Fraudulent Financial Operations: Fake banking scripts, Ponzi schemes, unauthorized cryptocurrency mining, or scam portals.

3. Offshore & DMCA Ignored Hosting Policy

CorelHost offers specialized Offshore Hosting and DMCA Ignored products hosted in privacy-friendly international locations. These services provide alternative copyright handling procedures tailored for privacy-conscious web projects. However:

• DMCA Ignored status does NOT grant immunity for severe illegalities, including malware deployment, CSAM, financial fraud, or network attacks.
• Copyright complaints on offshore nodes are reviewed manually by CorelHost administration to determine validity before taking action.

4. Server Resource Usage & Fair Use

To preserve performance for all users on shared environments, accounts must operate within reasonable resource boundaries (CPU, RAM, Disk I/O, and Inodes):

• Accounts must not utilize more than 25% of server resources for longer than 90 seconds continuously.
• Hosting space must not be used as an offline storage drive for raw backup zips, unlinked movie files, or non-active website media archives.
• Excessive error logs, unoptimized database queries, or uncached scripts causing server instability may be throttled until resolved.

5. Email & Messaging Standards

All accounts configured with mail functionality must adhere to strict delivery standards:

• Outgoing emails from shared hosting nodes are capped per hour to prevent IP blacklisting.
• Purchased or scraped mailing lists are strictly forbidden.
• Sending transactional or portal emails requires properly configured SPF and DKIM records.

6. Reporting Abuse

CorelHost investigates valid reports of network abuse, copyright violations, or malicious activity promptly. To report a violation, please contact our abuse department:

Please include the targeted URL/IP, specific evidence, and contact details for verification.

7. Policy Enforcement & Account Suspension

CorelHost reserves the right to evaluate policy breaches on a case-by-case basis. Actions taken for non-compliance include:

• Formal warning with a required resolution timeframe.
• Temporary service suspension or resource throttling.
• Immediate account termination and data removal for high-severity violations (e.g., malware, CSAM, phishing).

Accounts terminated due to severe AUP violations forfeit all rights to data backups and monetary refunds.
